In early 2021, Tabor Community Services and Lancaster Housing Opportunity Partnership (LHOP) officially united so they could work together to address the affordable housing challenges their neighbors face every day.
Together, the team offers a broad continuum of services with tools and resources to empower people to overcome homelessness, prevent eviction, prepare for homeownership, advocate for fair and affordable housing, and access financial security. They also contribute to the housing supply by financing new affordable units through Tenfold Community Lending.
Since Tabor and LHOP were both strong nonprofit organizations with prominent name recognition in the community, it became clear during the planning phase that to embrace a new journey together, the new entity needed a new name and brand to identify as one team moving forward.
Working closely with Fig, a local brand design firm, the name Tenfold was chosen because it reflects the best collective qualities of both Tabor and LHOP while capturing the energy of its new direction. Tenfold alludes to multiplication and fruitfulness; a focus on serving as responsible stewards of resources, as an organization, with clients and through its community partnerships. The Tenfold team is now multiplying its impact so it can achieve sustainable housing solutions and financial security for generations to come.
Through this rebranding process, Tenfold has also collaborated with Fig to ensure there was a visual thread that runs through all of its services. In doing so, Tenfold was also able to build a new website that captures its primary services in an easy-to-use format.
Over time, this will ensure its clients and the community can recognize Tenfold, while also telling the broader story of who it is — one team working together to spark the power in all people to address the wide range of critical housing needs within the community.
