TempForce in Lebanon under new ownership

After 19 years, a Lebanon staffing agency is under new ownership.

Cindy and Steve Heisey, current owners of TempForce in Lebanon city, sold the company to Glenn Rambler, a midstate banking executive.

Rambler will assume ownership on April 2. The Heiseys will remain involved with the company for several weeks during the transition.

Cindy Heisey worked as a general manager for TempForce before purchasing the company in 1992. She and her husband will retain ownership of the property on 827 Cumberland St. in Lebanon, which will be leased by Rambler.

Rambler has served as vice president of relationship management at Members 1st Federal Credit Union in Upper Allen Township since 2011. He worked previously as executive vice president and CFO of Lebanon Federal Credit Union in Lebanon.

In a statement, Rambler said he hoped to build on the legacy left by the Heiseys.

“I am incredibly honored and thankful to Cindy and Steve, who have done a tremendous job of leading this office,” said Rambler.

TempForce was founded in 1972 and is a licensee of Randstad, an international staffing company headquartered in The Netherlands. The Lebanon office has seven full-time staff and works with an estimated 250 client companies throughout the year, according to Cindy Heisey. Most of the staffing it provides those companies involves light industrial, clerical and administrative staff.

Heisey said she and her husband will be retiring to travel and spend time with their children and grandchildren.
