A Lancaster County nonprofit organization that focuses on workforce development training has named a new executive director.
The board of directors at the Lancaster County Career & Technology Foundation in Mt. Joy Township hired Jennifer Baker to the organization’s top post.
Baker is the second executive director in the 15-year history of the foundation, which raises money to help students and support career training programs at the Lancaster County Career & Technology Center. She replaces founder Anthony Gillespie, who recently retired.
She joins the foundation from Warfel Construction Co., where she served as director of business development and marketing. Prior to that, Baker was director of the Lancaster City Office of Promotion.
