With the sale Tuesday of property it owns on South Prince Street in Lancaster City, Milagro House achieved its vision that the buildings would be used to benefit the community.

LANCASTER-based HDC MidAtlantic (HDC) has promoted Tammie Fitzpatrick to chief operating officer. 

A phase of HDC MidAtlantic’s redevelopment of the former UPMC/St. Joseph’s hospital site in Lancaster will be developed by Lancaster Lebanon Habitat for Humanity. 

Lancaster-based HDC MidAtlantic (HDC) has taken over third-party property management of seven affordable communities, totaling 300 apartments, in Maryland and Delaware owned by Maryland-based non-profit Homes for America.  

Lancaster-based HDC MidAtlantic has expanded its footprint into Northeastern Pennsylvania with the acquisition of five affordable housing communities. 

HDC MidAtlantic and Milagro House are working together to offer affordable housing for women and children in the Milagro House program in Phase Two of the Apartments at College Avenue in Lancaster.
