The Federal Aviation Administration awarded $5.5 million from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act for Harrisburg International Airport upgrades, U.S. Senator Bob Casey (D-PA) announced.

Workforce development projects across Pennsylvania are receiving $5.5 million in Industry Partnership Grant funding aimed at meeting local and regional workforce needs. The announcement was made Wednesday by Gov. Tom Wolf.  Central Pennsylvania and Lehigh Valley projects will receive approximately $2 million combined funds in grants. 

Several Lancaster organizations have been awarded $4.4 million in grants from the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency. 

The PPL Foundation recently awarded $500,000 to support 17 nonprofit organizations working to improve the lives and well-being of individuals throughout central and eastern Pennsylvania.  

Three Lebanon County projects were approved for $3 million total in the latest round of funding through the commonwealth’s Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program.

Seven Cumberland County projects – ranging from renovation of an old, landmark hotel to public swimming pool upgrades - were among those selected for the most recent round of grants from the state’s Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program.

In Lancaster, nine organizations will create 85 affordable housing units and preserve 443 more through renovation, thanks to a $7.4 million American Rescue Plan Act allocation approved Nov. 22 by Lancaster City Council.
