A Baltimore-based developer has completed its purchase of the former UPMC Pinnacle Lancaster Hospital complex at 235 College Avenue in Lancaster. 

Lancaster Airport will offer daily flights to Washington Dulles International Airport beginning in June and will no longer offer direct flights to Baltimore.

When UPMC Pinnacle set out to design West Manchester Township-based, UPMC Memorial hospital, the system laid out its imaging and emergency departments next to one another, and operating rooms were expanded to leave room for advances in surgical equipment such as robotics.
