A top officer of Susquehanna Bancshares Inc. has resigned.
Gregory A. Duncan, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Susquehanna, will leave the Lancaster County institution by the end of May, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Duncan also serves as president and chief executive officer of Susquehanna affiliate Susquehanna Bank PA.
The Lancaster New Era reports that Duncan is taking a leadership position at a Montana bank. Duncan reportedly will be succeeded by Eddie L. Dunklebarger, longtime leader of Community Banks Inc. Susquehanna acquired Community Banks late last year.
