Construction has wrapped up on a new research and innovation center for Carlisle Construction Materials (CCM) in Carlisle .
York-based Stewart & Tate Construction, which built the 42,000-square-foot facility for the manufacturer of roofing products, said the $10.1 million center is now operational. The building, on Ritner Highway, replaces CCM’s current technical center.
The facility houses testing labs, support offices, and conference and collaboration spaces. The building was designed to accommodate a future addition that would include a second story over the front office portion. CCM is part of Carlisle Companies Inc., which is based in Charlotte, N.C.
Core Design Group of York was the architect on the project, which was announced at the end of 2017.
