“I am responsible for the day-to-day operations of the firm and work to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness,” said Steven Williams, managing partner of Cohen Seglias. “This includes collaborating with firm leadership to continue developing and identifying the services that clients value. The firm has steadily grown over the past several years, so I am also working to ensure that we have the right professional development tools, mentorship programs, technology and other methods of support needed to help our attorneys grow their practices.”
He said everybody is still trying to emerge from the pandemic, “and our firm and our clients are no exception. We worked hard to retain our people and ultimately closed out 2022 with additional growth and notable successes. It was a challenging year, but focusing on our culture and identifying strategic opportunities allowed us to increase our headcount.” Williams also worked with landlord and property management company clients to protect their business operations and reach long-term goals.
“The relationships I have built and curated during my tenure at Cohen Seglias are what inspire me on a daily basis,” he added. “Being asked to serve as a firm leader, first as an office managing partner, then as administrative partner and now as managing partner, are career highlights for me. Knowing that my contributions are valued is truly rewarding and I am grateful for what I do and the feeling of accomplishment I have in knowing I am able to make an impact each day.”
