State L&I paid nearly $30 billion in unemployment benefits since mid March

The Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry paid more than $29.5 billion in unemployment benefits since Pennsylvania’s businesses first closed in mid-March as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
