Last week’s question: Do you think small businesses are overregulated? Tell us why.
Yes – 67 percent
No – 33 percent
From our LinkedIn group:
From where I stand, small business is over regulated. If it were not for my folks and the wonderful people who built the JFC Staffing Companies decades ago, I do not know if I could make such a feat happen. Its extremely difficult for entrepreneurs to start companies these days….especially those who do it with ethics and integrity. Ironically, I sense that as more regulation is dumped on small business, the more “undesirables” (unethical small business practicioners) tend to crop up and even thrive. Regulation is oddly making it harder for those of us playing fair and more lucrative (less competitive) for those who operate by bending the rules (around regulation).
