Delta Air Lines is replacing its house-labeled peanuts and pretzels next week with a range of name-branded products, including Snyder’s of Hanover pretzels.

The baked treats are manufactured in Hanover, York County, by North Carolina-based Snyder’s-Lance Inc.

“We know our customers love pretzels and nuts, but we also know they crave more choices and larger portions which is why we’re upgrading their snacking options on board,” said Allison Ausband, senior vice president for in-flight service with Atlanta-based Delta.

Squirrel Brand Honey Roasted peanuts and NatureBox Apple Cinnamon Yogurt Bars round out the new offerings, while Delta’s signature Biscoff cookies will remain.

“Snyder’s of Hanover is pleased to be included in Delta’s new snack line up and provide better snack choices with America’s favorite pretzel,” Snyder’s-Lance spokesman Joey Shevlin said.

Among its routes, Delta connects Harrisburg International Airport with Atlanta and Detroit.
