County.

Blackford Development Ltd. has formed Landis Valley Partners
LP, which has bought 9.29 acres at Landis
Valley Road and Oregon Pike in Manheim Township,
where a Quality Inn sits now, according to Donna Deerin Ward, director of
development and sales at LMS Commercial Real Estate, which handled the
transaction. The price was not disclosed.

Landis Valley Partners plans to demolish the motel buildings
next month. In their place it will build a Giant-to-Go convenience store with
gas pumps, a CVS drug store and a Susquehanna Bank branch, all set to open this
fall. A 30,000-square-foot building for office and retail tenants will open in
early 2011, according to LMS.

Attempts to reach the hotel’s owner were not immediately
successful. The property’s owner is listed in Lancaster County
online records as BJP Associates Inc.
