“I am primarily responsible for formulating and executing on the strategic vision for our firm, which is to be a corporate, securities and M&A firm delivering services to a national client base,” said Scott Penwell, managing partner of Penwell Law. “Many of our clients are in the insurance agency and insurance company space. We represent large national insurance agency networks and insurance agency aggregators as well as individual insurance agencies.”
Penwell is ready to go further. “We have had a great five years at our firm and it is time to build upon the platform we have created. Therefore, I am heading up a national marketing effort including a website refresh, aggressive SEO component and social media effort to expand our practice on a national basis. While the old way of developing business will never go out of style, we live in a digital world, especially if you view your market as national, which we do.”
He said he continues to be inspired by the quality of young lawyers at his firm. Many lawyers his age don’t believe the younger generation wants to put in the effort it takes to build and grow a law practice. “I have been blessed with just the opposite experience. Our younger lawyers are not only smart and extremely competent, they are disciplined, focused and hardworking. That truly inspires me.”
