Scott Cooper is a partner at the personal injury law firm of Schmidt Kramer, where he specializes in personal injury law with an emphasis on motor vehicle/trucking accidents and insurance cases. He is a past president of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice and immediate past president of the Dauphin County Bar Association. Cooper was also appointed by Gov. Tom Wolf to the Pennsylvania Judicial Conduct Board and by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court to the Civil Procedure Rules and Appellate Rules committees.
In past year, “balancing all of my various duties while at the same time maintaining an active practice and being president of the distinguished local bar association” was a challenge, he said. “I enjoyed it all and was able to handle it all by listening to people and not trying to do everything all of the time.”
What inspires him is “helping people and getting them through what is usually the worst experience they will ever face, being able to give them assurances, and working to help them make their lives better after being injured through no fault of their own.”
