Schaedler Yesco Distribution is a fourth-generation family- and employee-owned provider of complete connected solutions for the electrical industry with 29 locations in three states. It’s based in Harrisburg and employs 500 people.
Business owners are Greg Schaedler, Tom Schaedler, Christine Schaedler Notarfrancesco, Elizabeth Schaedler Gillespie and Kate Schaedler. Greg Schaedler currently serves as CEO.
The 100-year-old company was started by Andrew C. Schaedler, Harry Schaedler, and William Schaedler. The company stated Andy saw the growth in the electrical business and suggested to his brothers that they expand their electrical contracting business into manufacturing and distribution.
“Although the company has grown, we still face the same challenges of earlier generations. We’re constantly changing to meet the market needs and meeting the needs of customers effectively, efficiently, and profitably. Challenges are always present and rarely completely overcome. Each day brings new ideas and new opportunities…The company intends to remain an independent distributor in an industry fraught with consolidation,” the company stated.
In June the company will move into a new corporate office in Mechanicsburg and expand its central distribution center at Paxton Street, Harrisburg. “These moves are central to increasing our services offering, enhancing customer experience and continual growth,” the company said.
