Salzmann Hughes acquires Gettysburg law firm

Salzmann Hughes P.C. acquired long-time Gettysburg law firm Campbell & White P.C.

The transaction became official June 1. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.


Salzmann Hughes has operated an office in Gettysburg since 2012. But with an increase in the number of real estate settlements it handles in Adams County, as well as a growing estate administration and business practice, the Chambersburg-based firm said in a press release it was looking for a strategic partner in Adams County. 

Campbell & White, the firm said, was a perfect fit.

“Campbell & White is a preeminent law firm in Adams County and provides exceptional service to its clients, and we will build on that reputation by providing access to additional services and practice areas, Bryan Salzmann. a partner at Salzmann Hughes, said in a statement

Campbell & White’s entire staff of eight joined Salzmann Hughes, said James Hughes, another partner at Salzmann Hughes.

“Our clients can still pick up the phone and work with the same folks they have grown to trust and rely on,” Robert Campbell, a former partner at Campbell & White, said in a statement.

Salzmann Hughes has 27 attorneys at offices in Chambersburg, Carlisle, Waynesboro, Harrisburg and Gettysburg.
