Sacunas expands west with Portland office

//September 7, 2016

Leaders at Sacunas, which is based in Lower Paxton Township, have hinted at the possibility of a Portland office for several months as a way to accelerate company growth. Owner Adam Vasquez has said his plan is to be a global firm with 500 employees within the next five years.

Last month, Sacunas added a Chicago office. The new Portland office will be led by Emily Sechrist, who spent 10 years at TE Connectivity before joining Sacunas.

“The Pacific Northwest is a hotbed of activity for companies on the cutting edge in key industries including transportation and technology,” Vasquez said. “Along with that is a great opportunity to grow our team with the rich talent of the Portland area.”

Many of the firm’s clients are East Coast companies that want to expand in Europe and around the world. They are mostly companies in technology, manufacturing, transportation and logistics, building materials and health care.

Clients include PennDOT and Solera Holdings, two of Vasquez’s former employers, as well as IMI and Cardone Industries.
