Sacunas expands B2B service to Chicago

//August 10, 2016

Dave Cosgrove, a veteran in digital strategy development and marketing, was named managing director of the new Chicago office. Sacunas is actively recruiting employees for the Midwest office.

Cosgrove has two commitments and expects to add a third employee. His goal is to have 25 to 30 employees based in Chicago over the next few years, he said. “Chicago just represents such a huge opportunity, particularly in the B2B space. Chicago has lots of distribution, manufacturing, health care and technology companies. It’s right in our sweet spot.”

The expansion follows the agency’s acquisition this spring of Harrisburg-based Freefall Creative and steady growth over the last year under new ownership.

Adam Vasquez, the company’s president and CEO, said in May that he was hoping to have 35 full-time employees this summer. In five years, his goal is to have 500 employees across the globe.

Sacunas also is planning an office in Portland, Ore., to serve its West Coast clients. And Vasquez has said he would like to relocate the company’s headquarters into Harrisburg or the West Shore to accommodate growth.

Many of the firm’s clients are East Coast companies that want to expand in Europe and around the world. They are mostly companies in technology, manufacturing, transportation and logistics, building materials and health care.

A few clients include PennDOT and Solera Holdings, two of Vasquez’s former employers, as well as IMI and Cardone Industries.
