Rutter’s Farm Stores today opened a new store in Springettsbury Township,
York County.

Rutter’s Farm Stores today opened a new store in Springettsbury Township,
York County.

The 5,200-square-foot store is along North Hill Road, near the Market Street exit
of Interstate 83. Features of the building include a white roof to keep the
building cooler and reduce energy demand, the company’s latest food-service
offerings and 18 fueling spots.

The store is open 24 hours a day and is the first of 10 new
stores Rutter’s plans to open over the next year. The company will invest more
than $55 million to open the stores, while adding 350 jobs to the local
economy.

York County-based Rutter’s operates 52 convenience stores in
Cumberland, Lancaster,
York, Adams and Franklin
counties.
