The Rutter’s store, located a mile off of Interstate 78’s Exit 30, is the 65th for Rutter’s, and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The 7,800-square-foot store has 50 employees, and offers 12 fuel pumps plus four dedicated high-speed diesel bays for trucks and buses.
It also is among the new Rutter’s stores expecting to offer a walk-in “Beer Cave” and wine section.
Pending final license approval, the beer and wine section is expected to open in late October, store officials said.
The Hamburg store also will offer a wide range of food and soft drinks.
“We have had many requests from customers about bringing a store to the Hamburg area. We are very excited to be able to fulfill the needs of our growing customer base with the new store,” Derek Gaskins, chief customer officer for Rutter’s, said in a news release.
The store opened Monday, and a grand opening is planned for Nov. 1, from 2 to 4 p.m.
