Scaer has been with Gannett Fleming for over 40 years. As CEO, he is responsible for formulating and implementing the strategic action plan that guides the firm’s direction and drives the company’s continued growth and expansion into new markets.

He has led Gannett Fleming through a period of remarkable growth and innovation while ensuring the firm’s agility and ability to deliver value to clients today and in the years ahead.

Scaer has served in many additional key leadership roles within Gannett Fleming, including president and COO, transforming day-to-day operations as well business and strategic planning firm-wide; president of GeoDecisions, Gannett Fleming’s award-winning geospatial and IT solutions division; and chief information officer, leading the firm through a digital infrastructure transformation.
