Rite Aid plans prototype store in Gettysburg

Rite Aid Corp. plans to open another prototype store on West High Street in Gettysburg, according to SGS Architects Engineers Inc. of Carlisle.

Rite Aid Corp. plans to open another prototype store on West High Street in Gettysburg, according to SGS Architects Engineers Inc. of Carlisle. Earlier this month, the East Pennsboro Township-based retailer broke ground on a prototype store at 5277 Simpson Ferry Road in Hampden Township, its first in Pennsylvania and 12th nationwide. The Customer World store features a more prominent pharmacy with a lounge and a private consultation room. The company plans to open 80 such stores throughout the country in 2006.
