Three affiliates of Lancaster-based Rhoads Energy will transition to new names and branding under the Rhoads Energy name.
Aulenbach & Son in Eastern Berks County, Boyertown Oil and Propane in Berks, Montgomery and Chester counties and Mack Energy in Chester County have all been part of Rhoads Energy family of companies for years and will now be transitioning to new branding to reflect that affiliation, Rhoads announced in a press release on Monday.
Rhoads Energy is a full-service home heating company offering HVAC, petroleum and heating oil.
The transition to the Rhoads Energy name and logo will streamline operations, lower costs and clarify Rhoads Energy’s position in the marketplace, according to Rhoads.
“This rebranding will consolidate our team under the same umbrella while maintaining hometown, high-quality service and values,” said Michael DeBerdine, CEO of Rhoads Energy. “We expect a very smooth transition for our team members and our customers.”
Rhoads folded another one of its companies, Lebanon-based V.R. Boltz into its branding last year. The move reduced confusion and improved service, which Rhoads said has led it to continue the strategy with other affiliates.
For Aulenbach, Boyertown and Mack, changes will include the Rhoads Energy name appearing on delivery vehicles, uniforms, signage and correspondence. Their websites will also redirect to the Rhoads Energy Website.
The companies have already made some transitions as part of their move to Rhoads Energy including shared phone systems, dispatching and operations guidelines. All team members are also eligible to participate in ownership under the Rhoads Energy family of companies Employee Stock Ownership Plan.
