The York-based developer today said it will host an open house this Friday for new units in the former F.W. Woolworth building at 44 W. Market St. The 18 apartments are part of Royal Square’s Revi Flats development, a collection of buildings at 9, 23 and 44 W. Market streets.
The overall project is creating 33 market-rate apartments and lofts, as well as eight retail spaces. Retail tenants include Isaac’s. One 3,000-square-foot retail space remains available.
Monthly rents for the new apartments, available with one bedroom or three, range from $995 to $1,950.
Six units have already been pre-leased since Royal Square and Sherman Property Management began showing the space this week, said Dylan Bauer, president of development for Royal Square.
Redevelopment of the old Woolworth store, which is 28,282 square feet, has taken place over the last 18 months. The building now features a 4,000-square-foot rooftop deck for outdoor entertainment and relaxation and a painted exterior “5 and 10” sign across the top.
The open house on Friday, which coincides with a First Friday event in York, will be open to the public from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
