Red Lion Controls Inc. has named an experienced industry veteran to lead its product management and marketing.
Ron Salerno is Red Lion’s new vice president of strategic marketing, and will report directly to company President Mike Granby.
Manchester Township-based Red Lion produces devices to facilitate communication, monitoring and control for industrial automation and networking. The York County manufacturer is privately held.
Prior to joining Red Lion, Salerno served as director of marketing and business development in the process instrumentation division at Siemens, where he spent nearly 20 years.
In that role, Salerno ran product marketing, business development, vertical sales and engineering support. Earlier in his career, he held business development, product management and engineer positions for a variety of Siemens divisions.
“Ron’s 20-plus years of industry experience makes him the perfect fit to lead Red Lion’s product management and marketing teams,” Granby said. “As our company continues to grow, I am confident that Ron’s experience in strategy development will continue to bring Red Lion’s products to the forefront of the industrial automation and networking space.”
Salerno holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Villanova University and an MBA from LaSalle University.
