Progress continues at high-traffic redevelopment in York County

A Sheetz convenience store has opened near Interstate 83 and Route 30 in York County, and a former Bob Evans restaurant has been demolished as part of ongoing redevelopment near the high-traffic intersection.

Under development by the Sacarellos family, owners of Round the Clock Diner in Manchester Township, the southern parcel of the initiative is being turned into three business pad sites.

The site used to be a residential neighborhood. Expected businesses have included Blair County-based Sheetz Inc. and the Texas-based Cheddar’s Casual Café chain.

The former Bob Evans to the north of Route 30 and just east of the diner is being developed into a retail center with Starbucks Coffee Co. as a potential occupant, the developers previously said.
