The state Department of General Services on Thursday announced it is building a 120,000 square-feet, three-story structure on the current site of the D&H Distributing Co. headquarters at 2525 N. Seventh St. in Harrisburg, PennLive reported on Thursday. The new building will eventually house nearly 900 commonwealth employees who work for two state agencies.
D&H’s building will be demolished to make way for the new office, according to PennLive. D&H announced in January it purchased a nearly 50-acre, two-building campus in Lower Paxton Township from TE Connectivity that it is renovating for its new headquarters.
