The Medical Sciences Pavilion houses the $32 million PinnacleHealth-Fox Chase Regional Cancer Center and PinnacleHealth Imaging Center. Completed in April by Murray Associates Architects, based in Harrisburg, the three-story, 70,000-square-foot facility brings several outpatient cancer services into one location.
The center houses an infusion unit for chemotherapy and blood transfusions, cancer risk assessment and genetic testing and counseling, numerous imaging modalities, a nurse resource center, robotic radiosurgery and a breast care center.
Pinnacle is collaborating with Philadelphia-based Fox Chase Cancer Center on the facility.
The Medical Sciences Pavilion has about 50 PinnacleHealth clinical staffers, said Gray Onobrakpeya, a spokesman for the health system. Additional doctors’ offices expect to be added on the third floor in the coming weeks, he said.
