Dauphin County-based Phillips Office Solutions continues to expand its northern territory.
The company on Friday announced its second acquisition of the year.
Phillips, which provides document management and other workplace products and services, bought North Central Digital Systems in Montour County to grow its document management services presence north of Harrisburg.
At the beginning of 2016, the Lower Swatara Township-based acquired Phillips Supply House in Lycoming County.
CEO Peter Phillips said the latest addition will expand the company’s coverage across Central Pennsylvania from State College to Hazleton. It will give Phillips complete coverage in the midstate from New York to Maryland.
North Central Digital Systems will retain its name and its leadership team.
“The merger is a natural and will give additional capabilities like enterprise content management, network services and many other document management solutions,” said Mike Nash, president of the Danville-based North Central Digital.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
