Steven Miller is taking on the role after a 20-year career with the York County-based bank. He has served as the bank’s loan review officer since 2001, having previously worked as a credit analyst and a member of the financial center support team.
As vice president and chief credit officer, he will manage credit administration and review and serve on the bank’s leadership team.
The position was previously held by Scott Weaver, who recently left the bank for another job.
Miller is a graduate of York College and serves on the allocations committee for the United Way of York and as a volunteer for an area Cub Scout pack.
PeoplesBank has roughly $1.5 billion in assets and branches throughout southcentral Pennsylvania and central Maryland, as well as several planned branches in Lancaster County retirement communities.
