Field, who also served as treasurer and assistant secretary of PeoplesBank parent company Codorus Valley Bancorp Inc., resigned from all of his positions to accept a similar role at a financial institution in Philadelphia, president of Codorus Valley Larry Miller, said.
Stepping in as interim CFO and interim treasurer is Diane Baker, who also serves as executive vice president, COO and chief risk officer. She was appointed to her current roles in February.
The board of directors plans to conduct an executive search to find a permanent replacement for Field, the filing said. Field first joined the bank in 2016.
Another executive search is also underway to find a replacement for the bank’s former CEO A. Dwight Utz, who was let go for unspecified reasons in February.

Based in York Township, the bank has $1.7 billion in assets and operates 37 branches, including 11 satellite offices in retirement communities.
