The Pennsylvania Credit Union Association appointed two new leaders during its annual reorganization meeting.

Jeff DeBree, CEO of Scranton-based Penn East Federal Credit Union, will serve as chairman of the trade association’s board, according to a news release. DeBree has been the board’s vice chairman since 2015, representing credit unions with between $50 million and $250 million in assets.

TruMark Financial Credit Union CEO Rick Stipa will step in to fill the role of vice chairman. Stipa, whose Montgomery County-based credit union is one of the largest in the state, previously served as a board director representing credit unions with more than $250 million in assets.

The association’s board also gained two new members during the reorganization meeting: Citymark Federal Credit Union CEO Joe Gimble and Service 1st Federal Credit Union CIO Jay Reed.

The Harrisburg-based Pennsylvania Credit Union Association is a trade group that represents the Keystone State’s 440 credit unions, providing them with services like legislative advocacy and operational support.
