Pennsy buys Lancaster concrete company

Harrisburg-based Pennsy Supply Inc., a subsidiary of Mid-Atlantic Group of Companies of Oldcastle Materials, today bought McMinn’s Inc., based in Manheim Township, Lancaster County, a Pennsy spokeswoman said.

Harrisburg-based Pennsy Supply Inc., a subsidiary of Mid-Atlantic Group of Companies of Oldcastle Materials, today bought McMinn’s Inc., based in Manheim Township, Lancaster County, a Pennsy spokeswoman said.

With the purchase, Pennsy acquired McMinn’s Asphalt, Lancaster Ready-Mix Concrete, Binkley & Ober and Prospect Aggregates & Concrete, said Pennsy spokeswoman DeAnna Halewski. Halewski would not disclose a purchase price.

McMinn’s, which employs 375 workers, generates $80 million in annual revenue, according to Pennsy.
