Pediatric sleep experts to answer questions live on Facebook on March 1

Having troubles with your baby or toddler’s sleep (or lack thereof) habits? On Friday, March 1, 2019 — International Baby Sleep Day — you can reach out to the world’s best pediatric sleep experts in a live Facebook question-and-answer session.

Beginning in Australia and Asia, and moving through Europe and North America, representatives from the Pediatric Sleep Council (PSC) will answer questions from around the globe, for the entirety of Baby Sleep Day, at facebook.com/pedsleep.

It will be the third annual Facebook event for PSC, which also launched a free baby sleep website, babysleep.com, in 2016. The website provides advice from the world’s most renowned pediatric sleep experts for over 300 sleep questions asked by families.  The site also provides a multitude of helpful tools and tips for parents and practitioners around the world, including a search tool so families can find accredited pediatric sleep centers.

Among the pediatric sleep experts participating is Dr. Ariel Williamson, a faculty member with appointments in PolicyLab, the Sleep Center in the Division of Pulmonary Medicine, and in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Dr. Williamson will be answering questions from 10:45-11:15 a.m.; other experts from across the country will be participating throughout the day.
