Four Pennsylvania business leaders made repeat appearances this year on American Banker magazine’s lists of top women in banking and finance.
Those leaders are
- Patti Husic, president and CEO of Centric Financial Corp.: Husic was ranked No. 17 on this year’s Top 25 Most Powerful Women in Banking list. This is her third consecutive year appearing on the list.
- Karen Larrimer, head of retail banking and chief customer officer at PNC Financial Services Group: Larrimer was ranked No. 14 on the Most Powerful Women in Banking list. She also appeared on the 2016 list.
- Diana Reid, head of PNC Real Estate at PNC Financial Services Group: Reid appeared at No. 21 on the Most Powerful Women in Banking list. Reid was also on the 2016 list, as well as on American Banker’s 2015 Women to Watch list.
- Charlotte McLaughlin, president and CEO of PNC Capital Markets: McLaughlin ranked No. 7 on American Banker’s list of Top 25 Women in Finance.
PNC is based in Pittsburgh, and Centric is based in Lower Paxton Township, Dauphin County.
Centric as a bank received its own recognition from American Banker as one of five top teams in the country for developing and promoting female talent. The bank, which also made this list in 2016, stands out for its efforts to put women on the boards of local organizations like The Salvation Army and Cleve J. Fredricksen Library in Camp Hill, according to American Banker.
“It’s an honor to be recognized with some of the most respected names in banking and finance,” Husic said in a news release. “Smart, influential, and innovative women are changing the future of banking and attracting a new generation of customers and leaders.”
This year marked American Banker’s 15th ranking of the top women in banking and finance. More information about the list and this year’s honorees is available on American Banker’s website.
