Husic has served 16 years in her current position.

She describes her leadership style as visionary and authentic, and it has evolved considerably over the past 10 years. “In 2015, we saw a need for community bank services in the greater Philadelphia region. Using our data and demographics, a strategic initiative was launched to expand the Centric Bank brand into Buck’s and Chester Counties,” she said.

“My love of community banking transformed me when I worked for a CPA firm after graduating from college. A large part of their business was auditing community banks in Pennsylvania. I was fortunate that one of the partners took me under his wing and offered me the opportunity to learn so much about the banking industry over those five years. One of the audits that I worked on was a local de novo bank {a newly formed institution that has to build its deposit and loan customers from scratch} . I developed a rapport with the CEO and was offered a role in Dec 1991 to spearhead their finance area.,” she said.

Husic loves spending time by the water. “If there is an ocean or pool nearby, count me in! I enjoy going to the beach, and for me it is one of the most relaxing things I do to destress & recharge,” she said, adding that family time is priceless. “I love for our family to gather at my home, share a meal, good conversation & some laughs.”
