In this edition of PA Biz Conversations, reporter Justin Henry speaks with recently elected House Speaker Rep. Bryan Cutler of Lancaster County. Rep. Cutler highlighted aspects of his legislative agenda aimed at supporting businesses and the economy amid the COVID-19 pandemic and gave his take on recent efforts by General Assembly lawmakers to place checks on the governor’s authority during an emergency disaster declaration.
Serving his seventh term in the Pennsylvania General Assembly, Rep. Cutler represents the 100th Legislative District in Lancaster County. In June he was elected by colleagues to serve as the 141st Speaker of the House of Representatives, having previously served as Majority Leader.
