Orrstown CFO David Boyle is adding the title of chief accounting officer to his role at the Shippensburg-based bank.

He replaces Douglas Barton, who will continue with both Orrstown Bank and its parent company, Orrstown Financial Services, in his role as senior vice president of finance, according to a report filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission last week.

The move was part of a reorganization of the bank’s finance department, said Mark Bayer, Orrstown’s senior vice president for strategic corporate initiatives.

Many bank’s Orrstown’s size combine the CFO and chief accounting officer roles, he noted.

Orrstown has roughly $1.4 billion in assets and offices throughout Central Pennsylvania and northern Maryland, including a growing footprint in Lancaster and Dauphin counties.

Boyle joined Orrstown as CFO in 2012, having previously served as an executive at PNC Financial Services Group.
