REAL ESTATE NEWS: Openings, contracts, transactions, relocations

Reynolds Consulting Engineers will provide commissioning for the University of Pittsburgh’s Benedum Hall renovation and deferred maintenance project. The $39.9 million project includes construction of an 8,000-square-foot mezzanine level.

Reynolds Construction Management will provide scheduling and construction management assistance for ArcelorMittal’s Steelton location. The project will include installation of a high-efficiency, low-emission steel furnace and related facility upgrades.

Reynolds Construction Management will provide owner’s representative assistance for a $35 million renovation project at the Community College of Philadelphia’s main campus. It also is working on the school’s Northeast Regional Center expansion project.

Reynolds Construction Management will provide construction management services for renovations and additions to Elizabethtown Area School District’s East High Street Elementary School. Phase one, which includes 18,275 square feet of additions for a gymnasium, art room, music room, computer lab and small group instruction areas, is scheduled to end in June. The second phase, which will include 56,725 square feet of renovations and upgrades, is scheduled for completion in April 2012.

John and Cynthia Rhoades purchased a 3,500-square-foot fully leased investment property at 2818 Green St. in Harrisburg from G. David Smith and Sandra S. Smith. Landmark Commercial Realty Inc./Oncor International of East Pennsboro Township represented the sellers.

Communications Electronics Inc. leased 3,000 square feet of office and warehouse space at 5321 Jaycee Ave. in Lower Paxton Township from Pac Industries. Campbell Commercial Real Estate of Lemoyne represented the tenant; Landmark Oncor International represented the landlord.

Carrucoli & Associates Law Firm leased office space at 107 N. Front St. in Harrisburg. Landmark Oncor International represented both parties.

The Quandel Group Inc. of Harrisburg will renovate the sterile processing department of PinnacleHealth System’s Community General Hospital campus in Lower Paxton Township. The 13-month project will include installation of new sterilizing equipment and upgrades to the HVAC and electrical systems.

Twelve Gates LLC bought a 4,750-square-foot, six-unit apartment complex at 400 Second St. in Highspire. NAI CIR represented both parties.
