Robert and Kathy Kuhn bought the former VFW building on Hummel Avenue in Lemoyne. Musser Builders will renovate the building, and TSR Inc. will occupy the facility this year. Campbell Commercial Real Estate Inc. of Lemoyne handled the transaction.

Capital Area Transit opened a part-time office on the second floor of Strawberry Square in Harrisburg to provide information and sell bus passes. Customers can also purchase passes and tickets from the credit card kiosk outside of the office.
Hair Direct of Conoy Township, an online hair replacement company, opened a 4,000-square-foot warehouse in southwestern Elizabethtown. Two full-time pick-and-pack staffers will staff the warehouse.

Susquehanna Valley Federal Credit Union purchased the former Members 1st Federal Credit Union building at 339 East Park Drive in Swatara Township. RSR Realtors of Lemoyne represented the buyer; NAI CIR of Wormleysburg represented the seller.
Synergize!, which offers online personality, behavior and skills assessments to help businesses select, retain and develop employees, opened an office at 1860 Charter Lane in East Lampeter Township.

Murphy & Dittenhafer Architects of York signed a contract with the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts in Hagerstown, Md., to design an enclosure of its courtyard for additional exhibition and event space.

Construction has begun on a $16 million renovation of the 77,000-square-foot Clark Library Building at Howard Community College. The project architect is Murphy & Dittenhafer.

Murphy & Dittenhafer signed an architectural design services contract for renovations of the York General Authority’s Market Street Garage. The new façade design will create a contemporary image for the garage while repeating materials and textures from adjacent historic buildings. Construction on the approximately $3.8 million project is scheduled to begin in March.

Keener Kitchen Manufacturing Company Inc. of Red Lion opened a 3,000-square-foot showroom in Timonium, Md. The showroom features kitchen and bath displays, a complete outdoor kitchen, a bamboo media center display and a custom coffee bar and fireplace. Display kitchens are shown in their entirety, with true aisle spacing and full-size work areas.

James R. and Linda T. Balkovic bought the 26-unit Walnut Hill Apartment complex in Lemoyne from Floyd and Kersti Baturin.

Toni Panuccio leased 2,500 square feet of commercial space at 225 N. Second St. on Restaurant Row in Harrisburg for an upscale pizza and Italian restaurant that it scheduled to open this spring. Landmark Commercial Realty Inc. of East Pennsboro Township represented the landlord, Nikitas Rassias.

Norkus LLC leased 1,720 square feet of commercial space for chiropractic care at 5521 Carlisle Pike in Hampden Township. Landmark Commercial Realty represented both parties.

Kokomos To Go leased 1,200 square feet of space in Plaza 5000 at 5000 Linglestown Road in Lower Paxton Township. Landmark Commercial Realty represented both parties.
