San Juan Bautista Roman Catholic parish in Lancaster opened a thrift store in its Plaza San Juan Bautista Youth and Cultural Center at 441 S. Lime St. in Lancaster. The store will sell used items to locals and generate revenue for the center.

Wood Star Productions leased 1,000 square feet of office space in Eden Professional Center at 1725 Oregon Pike in Manheim Township from LMS Commercial Real Estate of Manheim Township. LMS represented both parties.

Bayada Nurses leased 2,181 square feet of retail space in Queensgate Towne Center at 2081 Springwood Drive in York Township from LMS Commercial Real Estate. LMS represented both parties.

Station Square Group LP bought the 24,513-square-foot Station Square retail, office and warehouse complex on McGovern and North Queen streets in Manheim Township from Station Square Properties LLC. LMS Commercial Real Estate represented both parties.

Paul Davis Restoration and Remodeling expects to relocate in December to about 30,000 square feet of office and warehouse space the firm leased in Greenfield Corporate Center at 1817 Colonial Village Lane in East Lampeter Township. High Associates Ltd. and NAI Commercial Partners Inc. handled the deal.

EMW Enterprises, a contractor that specializes in finish work, leased 3,600 square feet of warehouse space at 142 Reno St. in New Cumberland from Joe and Bonnie Wachs. NAI CIR of Wormleysburg handled the deal.

Simplex Grinnell LP, a division of Berwyn, Chester County-based Tyco Electronics Corp., leased 16,686 square feet of warehouse space at 4700 Westport Drive in Lower Allen Township from Lower Allen Business Center LP. CB Richard Ellis represented the tenant; NAI CIR represented the landlord.

Heritage Hills Associates bought a 6,400-square-foot industrial property on about six acres of land at 1620 Camp Betty Washington Road in York Township. Rock Commercial Real Estate LLC of York assisted the seller.

Leaders Gate Partners LP bought an 18,120-square-foot office facility on 2.4 acres of land at 150 Farm Lane Drive in Windsor Township from Steamboat LP. Rock Commercial Real Estate represented both parties.

Mario and Francesco Farano, doing business as IM Auto Sales, leased a car lot from Remarc LP at 2158 W. Harrisburg Pike in Lower Swatara Township. Commercial Realty Group Inc. of Lemoyne represented both parties.

Meier Supply Co., a heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration wholesaler, leased 8,400 square feet of flex and retail space at 300 E. High St. in Hanover from Kapp Advertising Services Inc. NAI CIR assisted the tenant; Coldwell Banker Commercial Bennett Williams of York assisted the landlord.

Verizon Wireless leased 1,383 square feet of retail space in The Shoppes at Bloomfield Village at Lititz Pike and Bloomfield Drive in Manheim Township from Springwood Development Partners LP. Coldwell Banker Commercial Bennett Williams represented the tenant.

Seven Gables Estates sold 10 acres of commercial land on Samuels Drive and Spring Garden Street in Carlisle to a Florida developer that plans to develop 165 luxury garden-style apartments on the land. NAI CIR handled the transaction.

Reynolds Consulting Engineers of Harrisburg signed a contract with the School District of Lancaster to provide building-commissioning services for projects at Ross and Wharton elementary schools. The Ross project will include 30,000 square feet of additions and renovations throughout the facility. The Wharton project includes a 15,000-square-foot addition and renovations throughout the building. Both projects are registered with the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED program to pursue silver-level certification.

Reynolds Consulting Engineers signed a contract with Western Wayne School District in Wayne County to provide building-commissioning services for its $17 million South Elementary School. Construction on the approximately 102,000-square-foot building is scheduled for completion by the start of the 2010 school year. The district is pursuing LEED silver-level certification on the project.

Reynolds Construction Management Inc. of Harrisburg signed a contract with Marple Newtown School District in Delaware County for preconstruction and construction services at Marple Newtown High School. The project will include renovations and new construction. It is scheduled to begin next autumn.

Rutter’s Farm Stores of Manchester Township opened a 24-hour store at 2490 Cape Horn Road in York Township. The store’s food service includes custom stir-fry, fajitas and fresh-baked bread, as well as a premium-coffee island, fresh-brewed tea and iced coffee, seats for 12 people, restrooms and a surcharge-free M&T Bank automated-teller machine. Outside, there are 16 fueling positions and an automatic car wash. The design is environmentally friendly and has a white roof that will keep the building cooler while reducing energy demand.

JPST Realty, a local investment group partnership, purchased an 8,000-square-foot office investment property at 119 Aster Drive in Lower Paxton Township from 119 Aster Associates LLC II. Landmark Commercial Realty Inc. of East Pennsboro Township represented both parties.
