York Investment Associates LLC bought 5,215 square feet of office space on 0.4 acres at 2200 E. Market St. in Springettsbury Township from Market Street 2200 LLC. Rock Commercial Real Estate LLC of York represented the seller; Coldwell Banker Commercial Bennett Williams of York represented the buyer.
York City Bureau of Health leased 4,686 square feet of office space at 435 W. Philadelphia St. in York for five years. Rock Commercial Real Estate represented the tenant and the landlord in the transaction.
2K Networking Inc., a technology and system-integration firm, opened an office at 315 W. James St., Lancaster. The company has practices in the York and Harrisburg areas.
G&L Properties bought Shippensburg Parcel A12 at South Conestoga Drive in Shippensburg for $1 million from Shippensburg Properties LP. The property is 5.6 acres of commercial land. Coldwell Banker Commercial Bennett Williams represented the buyer in the transaction.
Rumar Inc., a Lewisberry-based real estate developer, purchased 2.9 acres of land on Old Trail Road in Newberry Township from GLS Leasco Inc. Rumar plans to build a commercial building on the land. NAI CIR of Wormleysburg handled the transaction.
Lower Allen Township-based Members 1st Federal Credit Union plans to open new branches at 201 Westminster Drive, South Middleton Township, and 1680 Baltimore Pike, West Manheim Township. EciConstruction of Dillsburg will build the 4,200-square-foot branch in South Middleton Township, which will feature three drive-up teller lanes, a drive-up ATM, a coin counter and safe deposit boxes, and is scheduled to open in winter 2008. Pyramid Construction Services Inc. of Hampden Township will construct the West Manheim Township branch, which is scheduled to open this fall.
Dennis O’Dell opened ODell4Hair Salon, a hair salon at 2321-R Market St. in Camp Hill. The business offers haircutting, color and design.
Kell Davenport is scheduled to open a second Davenport’s Italian Oven Aug. 14, at the Capital City Mall in Lower Allen Township. The 175-seat restaurant will include full liquor service. The original location is at Windsor Park Shopping Center in Lower Allen Township.
Discorp Inc. bought a 4,989-square-foot office building at 90 E. Shady Lane in East Pennsboro Township for $382,500. East Pennsboro Animal Clinic plans to relocate there from 101 E. Shady Lane in August. CB Richard Ellis Harrisburg represented the buyer and the seller, Pennsylvania Association of the Blind.
Goodwill Keystone Area, a nonprofit that serves people with disabilities, signed a three- to five-year lease for 12,927 square feet of retail space in Hampden Center at 4880 Carlisle Pike in Hampden Township. The property will house a Goodwill store and donation center. The Goodwill store in Gateway Plaza will close this fall; the new location will open in October. Coldwell Banker Commercial Bennett Williams represented the tenant. The landlord is Lavipour and Company LLC.
Wall Street Partners bought an office building at 1055-57 Columbia Ave., Lancaster Township, from 1059 Columbia Avenue Associates. Manheim Township-based Re/Max Associates of Lancaster represented the buyer and the seller.
Thomas C. Peth and Linda M. Peth purchased a 2,500-square foot office condo at 180 Good Drive in East Hempfield Township. Re/Max Associates of Lancaster represented the buyer and the seller, Good Drive LLC.
Tangles Hair Salon purchased a commercial building at 2122 Marietta Ave., East Hempfield Township, from J.M. Real Estate. Re/Max Associates of Lancaster represented the seller.
Midtown Development LLC began construction at its 1419 N. Third St., Harrisburg, property. The building will provide retail and upscale office space. The first floor has been leased. A grand opening is scheduled for this fall.
LRZ Ltd. bought the 19,644-square-foot Pine Grove Bowling Alley at 87 Tremont Road, Pine Grove Township, from First National Bank. LRZ plans to renovate the building and re-open it as a bowling alley and lounge. NAI CIR handled the deal.
Bob and Erin McRedmond of Handyman Matters purchased property at 4217 Derry St., Harrisburg. Integrity Bank provided financing. Handyman Matters plans to relocate to this office before the end of this year. Weichert Realtors First Choice of Lower Paxton Township represented the buyer.
Allen Distribution, a Carlisle-based third-party logistics firm, leased 129,183 square feet of warehouse space at 300 W. Heinz St., Mechanicsburg, from Heller Partnership. NAI CIR and CB Richard Ellis Harrisburg negotiated the lease.
