Eichelberger Construction Inc., a general construction firm in Dillsburg, received the construction contract for additions and alterations to York Suburban Middle School, in Springettsbury Township, York County. The project entails two major building additions and minor interior renovations. A one-story classroom wing totaling 31,400 square feet will be added to the northeast corner of the existing building. The second addition, located on the southern tip of the existing building and totaling 20,350 square feet, will house a one-story auditorium. The $4.8 million project was scheduled to begin early July. Expected completion is fall 2003.
Pyramid Construction Services Inc., broke ground for a new 25,000-square-foot office building for Kusic Capital Group at 4230 Crums Mill Road, Lower Paxton Township. Holy Spirit Hospital will occupy the first floor with an imaging center featuring CT scanning, mammography, ultrasound and radiography/fluoroscopy. Completion is scheduled for early spring 2003.

WEG Electric Motor Corp., Suwanee, Ga., leased more space at 532 Emaus St., Middletown. WEG, an electric motor company, now occupies 105,674 square feet in its northeast distribution center. Campbell Commercial Real Estate Inc., Camp Hill, handled the lease arrangements.

The original Mechanicsburg High School Boys Shop building, formerly owned by Wilcox Forging, was sold to a new owner who plans to restore the 2,000-square-foot facility to its former look and provide woodworking and furniture restoration services.
