A 125,000-square-foot North York building that was the former headquarters and factory of Perform Group LLC, a manufacturer of performance apparel, sold for $6.3 million last month.

The transaction was confirmed by Robin Zellers, broker of record and president at NAI CIR, who co-listed the 4.37-acre property with Nik Sgagias.

An affiliate of Oak Brook, Illinois-basedInland Group of Real Estate Companies was the buyer. The seller was Leroy King, former owner and CEO of Perform Group, which ceased operations in June 2021.

“The devastating impact of the coronavirus pandemic on not only our operations, but on dance and gymnastic expositions, recitals and competitions around the world throughout the course of the past 14 months (has) caused significant financial distress on our business,” King said at the time.

Constructed in 1955, the building is at 333 E. Seventh Ave., off Interstate 83.
