Architecture/engineering

Upper Allen Township-based Crabtree, Rohrbaugh & Associates named M.E. Rowe, Scott Cousin, Joshua C. Bower, Larry Levato and Leah E. Shiley shareholders. Rowe is an interior design senior project manager. She focuses on educational design. Cousin is a senior project manager who focuses on health care, corporate office and educational design. He leads all health care projects. Bower is a senior project manager and director of the Virginia office. Levato is a senior project manager focusing on educational design and management of architectural staff workload and operations. He oversees all of the firm’s projects. Shiley is director of client relations. She focuses on marketing efforts for the education sector and works closely with development of strategic planning efforts.

Arts

York-based DreamWrights Center for Community Arts named Karin Swartz, Sarah Yacoviello and Allison Meckley board members. Swartz is communications director for York Country Day School. Yacoviello is employed in development with Lewis Fundraising. Meckley is alumni relations coordinator with Leadership York. Sophia Nicholson, Hannah Alvarnaz and Cali Fife were named teen advisers. Nicholson is a sophomore at York Suburban High School, Alvarnaz is an 11th grader at Northeastern High School and Fife is a recent high school graduate.

Banking/finance

Millersburg-based Mid Penn Bank named Alex Kauffman president of its Scottdale region, which includes Westmoreland and Fayette counties. Joan Dickinson was named president of the Lancaster region. Mark Ketch was named president of the Northern region, which includes upper Dauphin County. Heather Hall was named president of the Capital region, which includes lower Dauphin and eastern Cumberland counties. Kauffman, Dickinson, Ketch and Hall were commercial lenders with the bank.

Mount Joy-based Union Community Bank named Katie Bresch assistant vice president and branch manager at the Maytown office. She will be responsible for business development and branch management. She was assistant branch manager in the Elizabethtown office.

Construction

East Lampeter Township-based High Construction Co. named Michael Rush senior project manager. He will oversee various construction projects. He was senior project manager with Noresco LLC in Massachusetts. He has a bachelor’s degree from Bucknell University and an MBA with a concentration in finance from Georgia State University.

East Cocalico Township-based High Concrete LLC named Adam R. Gracey product and design consultant. He will support the sales team through sales models and augmented-reality demonstrations. He was a graduate architect with Richard Levengood Architects. He is a registered architect and has a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University.

Lemoyne-based Excel Interior Concepts & Construction named Thomas Fogie project coordinator. He will estimate projects and coordinate material orders. He was a lead carpenter. Alicia Mirando was named designer. She will meet with clients, create design concepts and work on the project plan. She is the third generation of the family business and was project controller with Deloitte. She has a degree from Mount St. Mary’s University.

Economic development

York-based Downtown Inc named Joanne Ekeledo and Kate Hynes board members. Hynes will also chair the public safety committee. Ekeledo is an advancement officer at Logos Academy and owns Grace Manor Bed & Breakfast. She has a degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. Hynes is an associate attorney with Stock and Leader and a member of the business and real estate practice groups. She is a graduate of Drexel University and has a law degree from Penn State’s Dickinson School of Law.

Education

Annville Township-based Lebanon Valley College named Dr. Cayce Onks medical director for the master of athletic training program. He is also the team physician for the college’s athletic program, the Hershey Bears Hockey Club and Lebanon High School. He will collaborate with the program faculty in the design, implementation and evaluation of the program’s curriculum. He is a certified athletic trainer, and has a degree from the University of Tennessee, a master’s degree from Ohio University and a medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Government

Manchester Township-based York County Solid Waste Authority elected Ed Heindel chairman, Fred Ritzmann vice chairman, Joe Hoheneder secretary, Matt Sommer treasurer and Pat Ball assistant secretary and assistant treasurer. Robert Strickler and Charlie Calkins, both of CGA Law Firm, were named solicitor and assistant solicitor, respectively.

Health care

York Township-based WellSpan Health named Arthur Abrom, Guadalupe Barba, Steve Batchelor, Dale Brickley, Sherry Capello, Sherry Cassel, Dr. Chris Echterling, Mike Folmer, Tom Harlow, Philip Hess, Kenny Montijo, Michele Mummert, Robert Phillips and Phil Tipton members of a community advisory committee for its planned Lebanon County health and wellness center. Abrom is superintendent of Lebanon City School District; Barba is owner of La Placita de Lebanon restaurant and president of Juntos de Lebanon; Batchelor is regional director of community health and wellness with WellSpan Health; Brickley is senior director of innovation and new service development with WellSpan Philhaven; Capello is mayor of Lebanon; Cassel is executive director of Francis J. Dixon Foundation; Echterling is medical director of vulnerable populations with WellSpan Health; Folmer is a state senator for the 48th Senate District, which includes Lebanon County; Harlow is senior vice president of WellSpan Health and president of WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital; Hess is senior vice president of WellSpan Health and president of WellSpan Philhaven; Montijo is CEO of United Way of Lebanon County; Mummert is program director of vulnerable populations with WellSpan Health; Phillips is vice chairman of the Lebanon County Commissioners and a board member of WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital; and Tipton is executive director of Lebanon Valley Family YMCA.

Insurance

Ross Insurance Agency of Lancaster named Mary Lou Hill personal lines associate. She will help clients with their homeowners and personal auto insurance needs. She has more than 15 years of insurance experience and is a graduate of Lock Haven University.

Law

York-based CGA Law Firm named attorney Zachary E. Nahass a shareholder. He focuses his practice on business law, labor and employment law, civil litigation, and education law. Before joining the firm, he owned a private practice in Maryland. He has an undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire and a law degree from American University, Washington College of Law.

Lancaster-based Barley Snyder elected Jeff Lobach managing partner. Lauralee Baker was named chair of the litigation practice group. She concentrates her practice on health law litigation. Scott Landis and Salvatore Anastasi were named members of the management committee. Landis is chair of the technology committee, a member of the finance and creditors’ rights and intellectual property practice groups and works from the Lancaster office. Anastasi is chair of the intellectual property practice group and works from the Chester County office. The American Bar Association named Anastasi chair of its Patent Harmonization Task Force, and the American Intellectual Property Law Association named him a member of its Patent Harmonization Committee.

Susquehanna Township-based Schiffman, Sheridan & Brown P.C. named Lori K. Serratelli of counsel. She will focus on complex family, employment and Orphan’s Court matters. She will also offer mediation and arbitration services through Serratelli Dispute Resolution, also in Susquehanna Township. She was a judge in the Dauphin County Court of Common Pleas’ Family Division.
