Construction

East Hempfield Township-based Warfel Construction Co. named Ramsey Sybel and Brad Lefever project managers. Sybel was a project estimator; Lefever is a graduate of Philadelphia University. Jennifer Baker was named director of business development and marketing. She was an account executive. She is a graduate of West Virginia University. Bryan Niles was named director of preconstruction. He was a preconstruction manager. He has a bachelor’s degree in civil and structural engineering and a master of engineering degree in civil engineering and construction management from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

West Earl Township-based Benchmark Construction Co. Inc. named Marcus Grimm vice president of market growth and innovation. He was chief marketing officer of Aspire Ventures. He has a bachelor’s degree in communications from Elizabethtown College. Sam Van Cleve was named director of quality control. He will design and oversee the quality control program. Brad Bender, Evan Gallimore, Jimmy Mullen and Brian Visco were named project superintendents. They will coordinate site construction and field personnel. Bender is a carpenter with more than 35 years of construction-related experience and Gallimore is a carpenter with 17 years of experience. Mullen joined the company as a laborer and became a carpenter. He has 14 years of experience. Visco joined the firm as a carpenter and most recently was a foreman. He has 20 years of experience.

Lancaster Township-based Lancaster Country Day School named Dr. Jeffrey Grove and
Rebecca Miller trustees. Grove is a dentist and owner of Grove Dental Group. Miller is co-owner of DBL Tank Services Inc. and SGM Enterprises LP. She also will be president of the parents association.

Government

Gov. Tom Wolf named Ahmeenah Young to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board. She was president and CEO of the Pennsylvania Convention Center Authority.

Law

Harrisburg-based Rhoads & Sinon LLP named K. Wesley Mishoe a member of its business litigation group. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina and a law degree from Syracuse University.

Manheim Township-based Saxton & Stump LLC named Dr. Carol V. Freer senior medical consultant. She will support litigation defense and help with medical staff and physician integration issues. She is an associate professor of medicine with Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. She was chief medical officer at Penn State Hershey. She has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Delaware and a medical degree from George Washington University. Stacia M. Pearce was named a physician coaching consultant. She was associate director of hospital and healthcare system leadership engagement with the Pennsylvania Medical Society. She has a bachelor’s degree in communication studies, public relations and consumer behavior communication studies from California University of Pennsylvania and a master of education degree in counseling from Shippensburg University. Matthew W. Rappleye was named head of the appellate and post-trial advocacy practice group. He is a shareholder of the firm and has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a law degree from Boston University. Harlan W. Glasser, Collin T. Keyser, Ashley B. Nichols and Luke T. Weber were named to the group. Glasser has a bachelor’s degree from Goucher College and a law degree from Dickinson Law; Keyser has a bachelor’s degree from Bates College and a law degree from Dickinson; Nichols has a bachelor’s degree from Susquehanna University and a law degree from Dickinson; and Weber has a bachelor’s degree from Widener University and a law degree from Dickinson.

Manufacturing

East Lampeter Township-based High Concrete Group LLC named Luis Alexis Santiago-Perez a maintenance supervisor. He was a plant maintenance leadperson. He is a graduate of Automech Technical College in Puerto Rico. Megan E. Spatz was named an administrative services manager. She was a project controls administrator, and will oversee the administrative staff. John A. Herbein Sr. was named a field operations superintendent. He will oversee field operations personnel and assist subcontractors in erecting the concrete products made at the plant. He was a mechanic supervisor with RPI Co. in Chester County. Andres Taremae was named a continuous-improvement engineer. He was a process engineer with GAF in Lebanon County. He has a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. Affiliate High Steel Service Center LLC named Andrew S. Prevoznik a production and inventory planner. He was a warehouse supervisor for Amazon.com. He has a bachelor’s degree in supply chain and information systems from Penn State.

Real estate

Lancaster-based Relo Real Estate Services named Kurt A. Schenck a partner and broker. He was a commercial agent for High Associates and a residential agent for Sotheby’s and Howard Hanna. He has a bachelor’s degree in management and organization development from Eastern Mennonite University.

Manchester Township-based Investment Real Estate Management LLC named Julie Casella property manager of its Moove In Self Storage Quarryville location. She was an internet sales associate and head server.


Technology

Hampden Township-based Appalachia Technologies named Sarah Miller a senior systems engineer. She will provide system design, implementation and support services. She has an associate degree in database analysis and business and a bachelor’s degree in business forensics and administration from Franklin University.
