Newsmakers: Rhoads Energy names COO

Companies in the midstate have announced new hires and promotions in the following industries: accounting, architecture and engineering, banking and finance, construction, energy, health care, insurance, real estate and staffing.

East Pennsboro-based Brown Schultz Sheridan & Fritz named Hayley Dunkel and Donnie Wilson audit staff accountants. Dunkel is a graduate of Susquehanna University; Wilson is a graduate of Bloomsburg University. Katherine Stravinskas was named a senior staff accountant. She was a tax associate with an accounting firm in Harrisburg. She has bachelor’s degrees in accounting and Spanish from Shippensburg University. Jeshanah McLeod was named a marketing coordinator. She was an Internet marketing specialist with a marketing agency. She is a graduate of Penn State.

Architecture and engineering


RGS Associates of Lancaster named Alex Piehl, Craig Smith and Chris Venarchick senior associates. Piehl joined the company in 2004 and has a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from West Virginia University and a master’s degree from Penn State. Smith joined the company in 1994 and has a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from West Virginia. Venarchick has more than 18 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from Penn State.

Banking and finance


Pittsburgh-based First National Bank named Andy Male an area sales manager and mortgage loan originator for Lancaster and York counties. He has more than 20 years of experience, most recently as a residential mortgage banker with Susquehanna Bank. He is a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College. Ross S. Hamilton was named a mortgage loan officer for the Harrisburg area. He has 13 years of experience, most recently as a mortgage originator with Integrity Bank.



Springettsbury Township-based Massaro Building Co. named Kevin Miduri director of operations. He has more than 35 years of construction experience, most recently with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts. Bill Wos was named a senior estimator. He has 35 years of experience and was employed with High Construction.

Harrisburg-based Reynolds Restoration Services named Jack Roth a restoration technician with the Elkridge, Md., office. Fred Lombardo Jr. was named a foreman with the King of Prussia office in Montgomery County, and William Walters was named a carpenter
