National Association of State Treasurers elected state Treasurer Stacy Garrity chair of the ABLE Savings Plan Network. The network will provide strategic leadership on advancing ABLE savings accounts for people with disabilities.
Government
Harrisburg-based Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission named Stephen M. DeFrank vice chairman. DeFrank will focus on the delivery of safe and reliable utility service, the rebuilding of aging utility distribution infrastructure, and preparation for cyber threats to utility distribution systems.
The Pennsylvania Senate approved the nominations of Allison Jones and Daniel Klingerman to the Harrisburg-based Pennsylvania System of Higher Education’s board of governors. Jones is secretary of policy and planning for Gov. Tom Wolf. Klingerman, of Lycoming County, is CEO and chairman of Liberty Group.
Law
Lancaster-based Barley Snyder named Rachael Shaw an attorney in its Wyomissing, Berks County, office. Shaw concentrates her practice on business law and real estate and will work in those practice groups.
Manufacturing
Lancaster-based Ecore International named Josh Jensen chief financial officer. Jensen will be responsible for finance, accounting, business intelligence and information technology and will manage the company’s financial plans and growth strategies.
Real estate
Denver, Colorado-based Re/Max named Sandy Jamison vice president of region development for the Re/Max Northeast Region. Jamison will oversee regional operations in Pennsylvania and 13 other states.
Technology
New Freedom, York County-based BrillDog Inc. named Frank DeSantis chief operating officer. DeSantis will manage overall business operations and be responsible for strategic planning; revenue and profitability; and managing sales, marketing, customer service and operations, and vendor recruitment and retention.
