Millersville University named Alison M. Hutchinson registrar. She was interim registrar for more than a year. Before joining Millersville, she was the registrar of the Pennsylvania College of Art & Design. She has a bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies and a master of education degree in training and development from Penn State. Michael Jackson was named founding dean of the College of Science and Technology. He was chairman of the department of physics with Central Washington University and interim physics department chairman with the University of Wisconsin at La Crosse. He has a bachelor’s degree in physics and mathematics from the State University of New York at Oswego and a doctorate in physics from New Mexico State University.
York Academy Regional Charter School, which is chartered by the York City, York Suburban and Central York school districts and aims to become a K-12 International Baccalaureate school, named Dennis Baughman CEO. He was chairman.
Penn State Harrisburg named Susannah Gal associate dean of research and outreach. She was interim dean of libraries and a professor of biological sciences with Binghamton University in New York. She has a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and chemistry from Smith College in Massachusetts and a doctorate in biochemistry from Johns Hopkins University in Maryland.
